There is never a dull moment at Room 34, owing largely to our close proximity to Spunk Design Machine and the incomparable Jeff Johnson.
Our new developer Jeremy caught me experimenting with the Raspberry Pi. It works… but our physical set-up has some room for improvement.
Hooray for band nerds! Watch @room34 prove that 5 on 4 is possible, but not advisable, while running.

Now playing at the studio: I’m sure you remember Storm Thorgerson’s Kafka-esque video for “Owner of a Lonely Heart” that was an MTV staple in 1984. But have you ever seen this cheezball alternate video, presumably done before the record company realized they had a #1 hit on their hands and forked out for a proper one? Don’t even get me started on the video for “Leave It”. (But do get me started on Rush’s “Time Stand Still” video.)
We’re very excited to be working with Craig Johnson on some cool window silk screens for the studio! Tomorrow is the day. We’ll post more updates as the work progresses.
Scott tried out his new “Moshi Moshi” iPhone handset today. Nice!
